3/4 of the International Internet cables have been cut. We may have to find the New World again! Quote of the article? Sure, here you go, "These carry more than 75 per cent of traffic between the Middle East, Europe and America" Math is hard?

XKCD
I don't know about you, but I love some webcomics (and am fairly neutral about others). XKCD falls under the 'love' category, and with gems like this one, it's not hard to see why.
I highly recommend all of you nerdey types to check it out.

I updated the blog engine to 2.7, if stuff is borkt, please let me know. If all goes well here, I'm thinking about updating @arijem and @maus-tales as well.
What a difference a day (* 366) makes
As @arijem said, this has been a very fun weekend. Arden's a blast to be around, and is even letting Dad have some 1-on-1 time with him every now and then. I was just curious tonight, and looked back through my iPhoto archives to see how close I could get to a photo exactly a year ago. As luck would have it, I sure can!
For a shot from today, check out arijem's post linked above.

I'm predicting it now, BluRay will be the last way we watch movies on a physical disk. Look at the proliferation of broadband, youtube and tech like Hulu + Roku.
